The Laws of a Savage was born from one simple realization: too many women spend their lives pouring into everyone else while leaving themselves with whatever is left over.

We are taught to be accommodating, understanding, patient, forgiving, and endlessly available, yet very few of us are ever taught how to choose ourselves without feeling selfish for doing so. Somewhere between relationships, careers, family expectations, and trying to become everything for everyone else, many women lose sight of who they are.

A savage isn't someone who is cold, cruel, arrogant, or impossible to love. A savage is a woman who finally understands that protecting her peace is not the same as pushing people away, that having standards is not the same as being difficult, and that setting boundaries is not an act of aggression. She has simply stopped apologizing for taking ownership of her own life. She no longer measures her worth by how much she sacrifices, how much she tolerates, or how comfortable she can make everyone around her at her own expense.

As both a mental health therapist and a woman who has experienced loss, disappointment, unhealthy relationships, career setbacks, and the difficult process of rebuilding from the ground up, I began noticing the same patterns over and over again. Women rarely struggle because they don't know what is happening. More often, they struggle because they convince themselves to ignore what they already see. We excuse disrespect, chase potential rather than reality, stay in situations that no longer serve us, and wait for permission to make decisions we already know are necessary. We tell ourselves that one more conversation, one more chance, or one more sacrifice will somehow change the outcome, even when the pattern has already shown us exactly where it's leading.

I didn't create The Laws of a Savage to offer empty motivation or temporary confidence. I created it because inspiration fades when it isn't followed by action. Every lesson, blog post, book, and resource is designed to challenge the beliefs that keep women stuck and to replace them with practical ways to think differently, make stronger decisions, and build lives that reflect their worth rather than their fears.

Whether you are healing from heartbreak, questioning a career that no longer fulfills you, learning to establish boundaries, rebuilding your confidence after years of putting yourself last, or simply trying to reconnect with the person you used to be, you belong here. The Laws of a Savage is more than a book or a website. It is a reminder that choosing yourself is not selfish, growth is rarely comfortable, and the strongest decisions you will ever make are often the ones that require you to stop waiting for someone else to give you permission.

The goal isn’t to become someone new. It’s to stop abandoning the woman you’ve always been.
